A motorcyclist was taken to hospital following a collision involving a motorcycle and an SUV on Highway 401 Tuesday evening.
The crash happened in the westbound lanes between Hespeler Road and Speedsville Road, prompting a temporary full closure of the highway shortly before 5:45 p.m.
Ontario Provincial Police said the motorcyclist suffered injuries that appeared to be non-life-threatening. An air ambulance responded to the scene but did not transport any patients.
Several westbound lanes remained blocked as crews investigated the collision, with drivers advised to expect significant delays.
