A pedestrian was seriously injured after being struck by a train in North Bay on Wednesday morning.
Emergency crews were called to the area of Couchie Memorial Drive and Main Street West shortly after 11 a.m. on Aug. 5 following reports of a train-pedestrian collision.
One person sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to hospital, while another individual was taken in for precautionary medical assessment.
The North Bay Police Service is investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
