A section of Highway 144 in the Greater Sudbury area is closed in both directions following a single-vehicle collision Monday evening that sent one person to hospital with serious injuries.
Ontario Provincial Police said the crash occurred near Onaping Lake Road. One person was transported to hospital for treatment.
The highway is closed in both directions between the Cartier East Entrance in Cartier and Secondary Highway 560 in Gogama. In an update shortly after 1 a.m. Tuesday, police confirmed the roadway had reopened.
