Police are searching for a driver after an 8-year-old cyclist was struck in Kitchener’s Huron South last week.
The incident happened around 3:15 p.m. on Aug. 19 near Parkvale Drive and Bianca Court. Police said a white Honda CR-V left the roadway and entered a grassy area, where the child was riding a bicycle.
The child suffered injuries that were not considered life-threatening. Police said the driver returned to the road and left the area without stopping or remaining at the scene.
