A woman was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries after a vehicle crashed into a hydro pole in Burlington on Monday afternoon.

Halton Regional Police said the single-vehicle collision happened around 3 p.m. on Brant Street near Cavendish Drive, just south of Dundas Street.

The female driver was taken to hospital for treatment. Police said her injuries were not considered life-threatening.

Brant Street between Cavendish Drive and Hazelton Boulevard was closed while hydro crews worked to repair the damaged pole and power lines.
