A 24-year-old Orangeville man is facing several charges after police say an impaired driver lost control and rolled a vehicle multiple times in Guelph-Eramosa Township.
The crash occurred around 5 p.m. on Aug. 22 along Wellington Road 22. According to Wellington County OPP, the vehicle went out of control while navigating a curve before rolling repeatedly and coming to rest on its roof.
Paramedics assessed the driver and an adult passenger at the scene. Both sustained minor injuries and did not require further medical treatment.
The driver was charged with impaired operation, impaired operation with a blood alcohol concentration exceeding the legal limit, dangerous operation and having liquor readily available in a motor vehicle.
His driver’s licence was suspended for 90 days, and the vehicle was impounded for seven days.
