Two women were taken to hospital Tuesday morning after a two-vehicle crash in Wilmot Township.
Waterloo Regional Police responded to Queen Street and Witmer Road at about 8:45 a.m. following reports of a collision involving a Honda and a Chrysler.
A 24-year-old Kitchener woman driving the Honda was transported to a regional hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The 68-year-old Plattsville woman behind the wheel of the Chrysler was also taken to hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
The intersection was closed for several hours while police investigated but has since reopened. Investigators say charges are expected as the case moves forward.
Police are asking anyone who witnessed the crash or has relevant dashcam footage to come forward.
