Three people were injured early Thursday after a two-vehicle collision on Highway 50 in Brampton.
Emergency crews were called to the area of Coleraine Drive and Major Mackenzie Drive West shortly after 12:15 a.m. According to police, one of the vehicles overturned during the crash. Three occupants from that vehicle were taken to a nearby trauma centre for treatment.
A 60-year-old woman sustained life-altering injuries, while the other two injured people were treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
The occupants of the second vehicle were not injured, and its driver stayed at the scene following the collision.
