A rollover involving a stone-hauling truck caused major disruptions on Highway 427 in Etobicoke Thursday afternoon.
Ontario Provincial Police responded to the single-vehicle crash near Dixon Road at about 1:45 p.m. The truck overturned across the highway, blocking most of the available lanes and spilling its load of stones onto the roadway.
No injuries were reported.
All northbound lanes, along with one southbound lane, remained closed during the cleanup. The highway was fully reopened shortly after 6:30 p.m.
Police continue to investigate what led to the rollover.
