A man in his 60s has died following a collision involving a van and a truck in Brampton Friday afternoon.
The crash occurred shortly before 1:30 p.m. at Queen Street East and Delta Park Boulevard, east of Airport Road. Police say a truck was stopped to make a left turn when the van struck it from behind.
The van driver was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries and later died. The truck driver was not injured and remained at the scene.
The intersection was closed while police investigated the circumstances of the crash.
