Five people, including two children, were taken to hospital after a two-vehicle collision in North York on Saturday evening.
Toronto police responded to the crash at Jane Street and Stong Court shortly after 5:45 p.m. Paramedics transported three adults and two children to separate hospitals.
Investigators say a white minivan travelling northbound on Jane Street collided with a grey sedan heading southbound.
The 61-year-old woman driving the sedan sustained life-threatening injuries. A female passenger in her 60s was also injured but is expected to recover. The minivan’s 50-year-old male driver and the two children were treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision.
