A woman has died after being struck by an ION light rail train in Waterloo late Saturday night.
Emergency crews were called to the area of Dutton Drive around 11:20 p.m. following reports of a collision involving a pedestrian and an LRT train.
Responders found the woman and attempted life-saving measures, but she was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say the investigation is ongoing. No charges have been laid at this time.
