A man in his 50s was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle in downtown Toronto on Sunday afternoon.
Toronto police responded to the area of Dundas Street East and Sherbourne Street shortly after 3:40 p.m. following reports of a pedestrian-involved collision.
Paramedics transported the man to a local trauma centre in serious but stable condition. Police say the driver and vehicle remained at the scene.
Eastbound Dundas Street East is currently blocked at Sherbourne Street. Motorists are advised to expect delays and use alternate routes.
