A 41-year-old Toronto resident has died following a collision involving a passenger vehicle and a tractor-trailer on Highway 11.
Ontario Provincial Police responded to the crash near Country Lane Road around 6:45 p.m. on Sept. 1.
The victim was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries but was later pronounced dead.
Highway 11 was closed for approximately 11 hours as officers investigated the scene.
Police have not released details about what caused the collision or indicated whether charges will be laid. The investigation remains ongoing.
