A 77-year-old woman was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle in a Markham parking lot Monday morning.
York Regional Police responded to the pedestrian collision around 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 31 in the area of Markham Road and Highglen Avenue.
The woman was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries. Police said the driver remained at the scene and was not injured.
The circumstances surrounding the collision remain under investigation. Anyone who witnessed the incident or has relevant information is asked to contact York Regional Police.
