Ontario Provincial Police are investigating the sudden death of a 43-year-old man in Kingsville following a night of severe weather.
Emergency crews were called to Road 11 shortly before midnight Wednesday after an ATV was reportedly found off the roadway and several hydro poles were down in the area. OPP, Essex-Windsor EMS and the Kingsville Fire Department responded at approximately 11:58 p.m.
A 43-year-old man was found at the scene and pronounced dead.
Police have not determined the circumstances surrounding the death or confirmed whether the ATV, fallen hydro poles and fatality are related. Investigators said the case remains in its early stages and are continuing to examine what happened.
