A woman was seriously injured after being struck by a truck in Toronto’s Eglinton West neighbourhood Saturday afternoon.
Police and emergency crews were called to the intersection of Keele Street and Eglinton Avenue West shortly before 2:30 p.m.
Paramedics took the pedestrian to hospital for treatment of serious injuries. The truck driver remained at the scene following the collision, police said.
The circumstances leading up to the crash have not been released. The investigation is ongoing.
