A farm tractor operator has died following a two-vehicle collision near Vankleek Hill.
Ontario Provincial Police responded to the crash on Highway 34 near Ridge Road shortly before 9 p.m. Monday. The collision involved a passenger vehicle and a farm tractor.
The tractor operator was pronounced dead at the scene.
Highway 34 remained closed for several hours while police investigated the crash and the roadway was cleared. It reopened around 5 a.m. Tuesday.
Police have not released additional details and say the investigation is ongoing. Investigators are asking anyone who may have seen the tractor travelling along Highway 34 before the collision to contact the Hawkesbury OPP detachment.
