A 23-year-old man has died following a workplace accident at a business in Ottawa’s south end Wednesday afternoon.
Emergency crews were called to a business in the 4000 block of Barnsdale Road at about 12:30 p.m. Paramedics said the man was injured by a bin on a truck. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Ottawa police were also at the business following the incident.
The Ministry of Labour is investigating the circumstances surrounding the workplace accident.
