Motorists travelling through Vaughan faced delays Thursday morning after a two-vehicle collision forced the closure of all southbound lanes on Highway 427.
Ontario Provincial Police responded to the crash at about 2:40 a.m. The affected section runs between Major Mackenzie Drive and Rutherford Road.
One person was transported to a local trauma centre for medical treatment, according to police.
The southbound closure remains in place as authorities investigate the collision.
