Four people were taken to hospital with minor injuries after a two-vehicle collision in Toronto’s Oakwood Village late Sunday night.

Toronto police responded to Dufferin Street and Rogers Road shortly before 11:30 p.m. Three people from one of the vehicles allegedly fled on foot following the crash, prompting officers to search the surrounding area.

Police later located and arrested the 21-year-old driver who had allegedly left the scene.

He is facing several charges, including dangerous operation, impaired operation and failing to remain at the scene of a collision. The driver of the other vehicle was also among those treated for minor injuries.

Dufferin Street was closed in both directions at Rogers Road overnight while police investigated. The intersection has since reopened. The investigation remains ongoing.
