Firefighters are working to fully extinguish a house fire on Lorne Avenue in London after multiple 911 calls reported heavy black smoke in the area.
London Fire Department crews were dispatched to the 900 block of Lorne Avenue, where they confirmed a working fire inside a home.
Firefighters quickly deployed a hose line and carried out primary and secondary searches of the residence. Crews are also checking for fire spread within the structure.
The fire is believed to have started around the rear deck, where extensive damage has been reported. Everyone inside the home had escaped before firefighters arrived, and no injuries have been reported.
The fire has been brought under control, although crews remain at the scene to ensure it is fully extinguished.
The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
