A serious collision involving a motorcycle and another vehicle has prompted road closures in Brampton as police investigate.
The crash happened shortly after 1:30 p.m. near Mississauga Road and Olivia Marie Road, just north of Steeles Avenue West. Peel Regional Police say the motorcyclist was seriously injured and transported to hospital.
The driver involved in the collision remained at the scene. Investigators have not yet determined what caused the crash.
Several roads in the area are closed while police examine the scene.
