A collision involving two vehicles temporarily shut down a highway on-ramp in Mississauga Wednesday evening.
The crash occurred shortly before 5 p.m. on the northbound Cawthra Road ramp leading to the Queen Elizabeth Way. Ontario Provincial Police said injuries were being assessed at the scene.
The ramp was closed for several hours as emergency crews responded and the collision was investigated. Police later confirmed shortly before 7 p.m. that the crash had been cleared and the ramp had reopened.
