A pedestrian was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle in Aurora Friday morning.
York Regional Police responded to the collision around 8:55 a.m. at St. John’s Side Road and Trent Street. The pedestrian was taken to hospital for treatment.
The vehicle involved remained at the scene as police investigated. The intersection was expected to be closed for several hours while officers worked at the scene.
Police later confirmed that all lanes on St. John’s Side Road had reopened shortly before 12:45 p.m.
