A 31-year-old Cambridge man suffered serious injuries Friday evening after an e-motorcycle collided with a vehicle in the city.
Emergency services were called to the area of Franklin Boulevard and Holiday Inn Drive shortly after 6:20 p.m. The motorcycle rider was transported to a hospital outside the Waterloo Region for medical treatment.
Police closed the intersection for several hours while officers examined the scene and gathered evidence. The roadway has since reopened.
The circumstances surrounding the crash remain under investigation, and police expect charges to be laid.
