A 77-year-old woman from Haldimand County has died following a fatal crash Friday afternoon.
The collision occurred around 3:30 p.m. at Haldimand Road 20 and Kohler Road, where an SUV and passenger van were involved in a crash.
The woman, who was alone in the SUV, suffered critical injuries and was transported to hospital by Ornge air ambulance. She later died. No one inside the van was injured.
The intersection remained closed for several hours as police attended the scene and conducted their investigation.
