Owen Sound police are searching for a driver following a hit-and-run that left a cyclist seriously injured Saturday morning.
Officers were called to the intersection of 10th Street East and 1st Avenue East at around 7 a.m. after a cyclist was struck by a vehicle.
Police believe the suspect vehicle is a dark-coloured Cadillac sedan with significant damage to the front passenger-side area. The car is believed to have a broken headlight and a missing passenger-side mirror.
Investigators say the driver failed to remain at the scene and continued westbound along 10th Street.
The cyclist was taken to hospital with serious injuries that were not considered life-threatening. Police continue to investigate the incident and are asking anyone with information to come forward.
