Three teenagers were seriously injured after a vehicle crashed into a hydro pole in Kitchener early Sunday morning.
Waterloo Regional Police responded to New Dundee Road near Reichert Drive at approximately 3:10 a.m. after a grey Nissan Altima left the roadway and struck the pole.
The 17-year-old driver was transported to an out-of-region hospital with serious injuries. Two other 17-year-old male occupants were taken to local hospitals for treatment.
New Dundee Road is closed between Robert Ferrie Drive and Dodge Drive while hydro crews carry out repairs.
Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision.
