A 34-year-old motorcyclist died after crashing in Toronto’s west end early Sunday morning.
Police were called to the area of Lake Shore Boulevard West and British Columbia Road around 5 a.m. after reports of a motorcycle collision.
Investigators say the rider was travelling westbound when he lost control, struck a utility pole and was thrown from the motorcycle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are investigating the circumstances of the crash, including whether speed played a role. The man’s family has been notified.
The roads in the area have since reopened following the investigation.
