Oxford OPP are asking for the public’s help identifying a dirt bike rider involved in an incident that left an officer with minor injuries.

The incident happened Friday, September 25, around 3 p.m. on Pitcher Street in Norwich. An officer conducting an unrelated traffic stop was returning to their cruiser when they were struck by a dirt bike rider performing a wheelie.

The rider fled the scene following the collision. The officer suffered minor injuries.

Police describe the rider as a white male, approximately 16 to 25 years old, wearing a white San Francisco 49ers hoodie and blue jeans. The dirt bike is described as having a black frame, red seat, single-pipe exhaust, four-stroke engine and off-road tires.
