A stretch of Ament Line in Woolwich remained closed for much of Thursday after a vehicle crash damaged a hydro pole and prompted extensive repairs.
Police said the single-vehicle collision occurred around 11 a.m. between Hawkesville Road and Empey Road. No injuries were reported.
The damaged hydro infrastructure required crews to carry out repairs, keeping the roadway closed into the early evening. Police had not provided an estimated reopening time.
