A 12-year-old boy was taken to hospital Friday evening after being struck by a vehicle in midtown Toronto.
The collision happened shortly before 6:30 p.m. at Duplex Avenue and Lawrence Avenue West in Lawrence Park.
Toronto paramedics said the boy was transported to hospital in stable condition.
Police confirmed the driver remained at the scene following the incident, and has been charged. The circumstances that led to the collision have not yet been determined.
