A 46-year-old London man is facing impaired-driving charges after a vehicle struck two parked cars and rolled onto its roof in the city’s south end Saturday afternoon.

London police said the crash happened around 1:10 p.m. on Euclid Avenue near Wharncliffe Road South. The vehicle was travelling eastbound when it collided with the parked vehicles.

Police say the driver exited the vehicle and attempted to leave the area. Witnesses contacted police, while a bystander restrained the man until officers arrived and took him into custody. No injuries were reported.

The London man has been charged with impaired operation of a vehicle and failing to comply with a demand from a peace officer. He was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in a London courtroom on November 12.
