A cyclist in his 70s was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle in Etobicoke on Sunday afternoon.
The collision happened near Dixon Road and Royal York Road shortly after 2 p.m. Emergency crews transported the cyclist to hospital, where he was being treated for serious injuries that paramedics said could be life-threatening.
Police say the driver stayed at the scene following the crash.
The circumstances leading up to the collision remain under investigation.
