A 24-year-old Kitchener man is facing multiple impaired and dangerous driving charges after a two-vehicle collision on Highway 427 left six people injured early Sunday.
Ontario Provincial Police say a sedan and an SUV crashed on the northbound Highway 427 ramp connecting to westbound Highway 401 shortly before 3:30 a.m.
All six people involved were taken to hospital, with one suffering life-threatening injuries. Four patients transported to a trauma centre were reported to have sustained life-altering injuries. Police have charged Navdeep Singh with several offences, including impaired operation causing bodily harm, dangerous operation causing bodily harm and failing to stop after a collision involving bodily harm.
