A 73-year-old man has died after being struck by a vehicle while crossing a street in Windsor Sunday evening.
Windsor police said the man, who was using a motorized wheelchair, was crossing near Crawford Avenue and Riverside Drive West at around 7 p.m. when he was struck by a westbound vehicle.
He was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries and later died.
The driver remained at the scene following the collision. The area was closed for several hours while police conducted a traffic reconstruction.
The investigation remains ongoing.
