One person was killed and two others were hospitalized following a serious collision on Highway 12 in Brock Township on Saturday morning, according to Ontario Provincial Police.
The crash occurred between Brock Concession Road 9 and Brock Concession Road 11. Police said a 23-year-old driver from Sunderland died at the scene. The driver of a second vehicle sustained minor injuries and was taken to a local hospital, while the third driver suffered serious, life-threatening injuries and was transported to a Toronto-area hospital.
Highway 12 was closed in both directions to allow investigators to examine the scene and determine the circumstances surrounding the fatal collision.
The identity of the deceased and the cause of the crash have not been released. The investigation remains ongoing.
