A two-vehicle collision in Brampton early Monday morning left one driver seriously injured, according to police.
Emergency crews responded to the intersection of Chinguacousy Road and Queen Street West shortly after 5 a.m. A male driver was taken to a local trauma centre with serious injuries, while the female driver involved in the collision was not hurt, police said.
Both drivers remained at the scene following the crash.
The crash led to traffic disruptions in the area, with eastbound Queen Street West closed between James Potter Road and Chinguacousy Road. Southbound Chinguacousy Road was also shut down at Queen Street West.
