Three people were injured in a collision involving an SUV and a pickup truck in Lucan Biddulph on Oct. 21, prompting charges against a 25-year-old resident of Zurich.
The crash was reported at about 6:32 a.m. at Elginfield Road and Prospect Hill Road, where Middlesex County OPP officers responded alongside paramedics and firefighters.
Police said the three people inside the SUV were transported to hospital. Two sustained non-life-threatening injuries, while the third suffered life-threatening injuries. The pickup truck driver escaped without injury.
The intersection was shut down for roughly six hours to allow investigators to examine the scene.
The 25-year-old has been charged with two counts of careless driving causing bodily harm under the Highway Traffic Act.
