An 11-year-old child died Monday afternoon after being ejected from an off-road vehicle near Capreol, Ontario.
According to Greater Sudbury Police, the incident occurred on an unnamed road near Portelance Road when the driver of a side-by-side lost control, causing the young passenger to be thrown from the vehicle. The child was airlifted to hospital but was later pronounced dead.
The traffic safety unit is continuing to investigate the incident. Police are asking anyone with relevant information to come forward.
