A 13-year-old boy was taken to hospital after being struck by an LRT on Toronto’s Line 6 Finch West route on Friday afternoon.
The incident occurred around 3:19 p.m. near the intersection of Finch Avenue West and Driftwood Avenue in North York. Paramedics transported the boy to hospital with minor injuries.
Following the collision, TTC service on Line 6 Finch West was suspended between Finch West and Norfinch–Oakdale stations, with shuttle buses operating to accommodate passengers.
Driftwood Avenue was also closed in both directions north of Finch Avenue West as emergency crews responded and investigators examined the scene.
