A 16-year-old was taken to hospital after a collision involving an e-scooter and a vehicle in Kitchener on Thursday afternoon.
Police say the crash happened around 3 p.m. at the intersection of Homer Watson Boulevard and Ottawa Street North, involving an e-scooter and a GMC vehicle.
The teenager was transported to a regional hospital with injuries that are not considered life-threatening. The 30-year-old driver of the GMC was not injured.
Waterloo regional police say the investigation is ongoing and charges are expected. Witnesses are being asked to come forward.
