A 19-year-old from Wilmot Township is facing multiple charges, including impaired driving, following a crash Thursday afternoon.
Emergency crews were called to the area of Hillfield Drive around 3:50 p.m. after a report of a driver allegedly operating a vehicle recklessly before crashing into a snowbank.
Police arrived and arrested the driver at the scene. Although the vehicle sustained significant front-end damage, no injuries were reported.
The accused has been charged with impaired operation involving alcohol and drugs, impaired operation with a blood alcohol concentration offence, dangerous driving, and having cannabis readily accessible in a vehicle.
Investigators are asking anyone who witnessed the incident or has dash camera footage to contact police.
