A fatal collision occurred in Burlington on Monday night, claiming the life of a 19-year-old motorcyclist. The incident took place at approximately 8:50 p.m. near the intersection of Kerns Road and Dundas Street.
Initial reports suggest that the eastbound Honda motorcycle collided with a westbound Ford SUV. The SUV was attempting to turn left onto Kerns Road at the time of the crash. Two additional vehicles were also damaged due to the impact.
The motorcyclist, a man from Waterdown, was declared dead at the scene. The 56-year-old driver of the SUV, from Milton, was unharmed. The Halton Regional Police’s collision reconstruction unit has taken over the investigation.
