A 19-year-old New Tecumseth woman is facing impaired-driving charges after her vehicle struck a centre-median traffic signal in Alliston early Tuesday morning. The crash occurred around 1:30 a.m. on Industrial Parkway near Church Street. She was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Following the investigation, police laid charges for impaired driving with a blood-alcohol level above 80, and she is scheduled to appear in court.
