A 19-year-old woman from Atwood has died following a two-vehicle collision in North Perth.
Ontario Provincial Police say emergency crews were dispatched around 7:17 p.m. Wednesday to Perth Line 72 near Perth Road 140. Officers attempted life-saving measures upon arrival, but the woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Her name has not been released.
A passenger from one of the vehicles and the driver of the other were transported to hospital with injuries described as non-life-threatening.
The roadway was closed between Road 147 and Road 136 for several hours overnight before reopening. Police continue to investigate and are asking anyone who witnessed the crash or has dashcam footage from the area to contact Perth County OPP.
