A fatal three-vehicle crash near Brantford on Friday afternoon has left two dead and five others hospitalized.
Ontario Provincial Police say the collision occurred just after 12:30 p.m. near Colborne Street East, close to McBay Road and Langford Church Road, involving a pickup truck, an SUV, and a minivan.
The minivan’s occupants—a 38-year-old driver and a 16-year-old passenger—sustained life-threatening injuries and were pronounced dead at the scene. The SUV’s driver and three passengers, along with the pickup truck’s driver, were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police are continuing their investigation and are asking anyone who witnessed the crash or has video footage to contact them.
