A crash involving two vehicles in Etobicoke on Thursday morning led to the closure of a section of Renforth Drive and caused major traffic disruptions in the area.
Toronto police said emergency crews were dispatched to the intersection of Renforth Drive and Rathburn Road shortly after 10 a.m. Following the collision, airbags were reported to have deployed in at least one of the vehicles.
Two individuals were assessed by paramedics at the scene, though details about their injuries have not been released.
Southbound Renforth Drive remains closed as officers continue to investigate the circumstances of the crash. Motorists are being advised to avoid the area and seek alternate routes.
