A 21-year-old driver from Fergus was seriously injured in a rollover crash in Guelph-Eramosa Township.
Ontario Provincial Police responded Monday evening around 7:45 p.m. to a single-vehicle collision near Wellington Road 51 and Highway 6. Investigators say the driver lost control while navigating a curve, causing the vehicle to roll multiple times before coming to rest in a nearby field.
The driver was taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Police have charged the driver with careless driving. The crash led to the temporary closure of Highway 6 between Wellington Road 22 and Wellington Road 51 for several hours.
